We're excited to announce a powerful new feature in Hifz Focus: Audio Recitation Submissions! This allows students to record their lessons directly in the app and submit them to their teachers for review, creating a flexible and powerful new feedback loop.

How It Works

1. Record: On the student dashboard, next to each lesson in the To-Do List, you'll find a microphone icon. Students can simply select a lesson, record their recitation when they are ready, and submit it for review.

2. Review: Teachers will see a notification that a new recitation is pending. From the session screen, they can play the student's audio while simultaneously following along in the interactive Mushaf.

3. Precise Feedback*: As the teacher listens, they can mark errors just as they would in a live session. This is especially powerful for providing detailed *Tajweed feedback, as teachers can pause and replay sections to catch subtle Khafi (minor) errors in pronunciation, timing, and flow. They can even add their own audio notes to clarify a correction.

4. Complete: The teacher completes the session as usual, marking it as "Memorized" or "Needs More Practice." The feedback, including any marked errors and the teacher's audio notes, is sent back to the student instantly.

Why This is a Game-Changer

* For Students: Practice on your own schedule when you feel most prepared. You no longer have to wait for a live session to get feedback on a difficult passage. You can listen back to your own recordings to self-correct and track your improvement over time.

* For Teachers: Review lessons asynchronously when it's most convenient. This flexibility allows you to provide incredibly detailed and thoughtful Tajweed feedback that might be difficult to capture in a live setting.

This feature bridges the gap between live sessions, enabling a continuous cycle of practice, feedback, and improvement. We believe it will help students build confidence and accelerate their Hifz journey, insha'Allah.
