A Guide to the New Teacher Settings Page

We've added a new Settings page to your Teacher Dashboard to help you better manage your sessions and streamline your workflow. This guide will walk you through the two main features available: setting your personal meeting link and creating session schedules for automatic reminders.

You can access this page via the Settings icon (a gear) in the header.

1. Personal Meeting Link

To make live sessions seamless, you can now save your personal meeting URL (e.g., from Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) directly in the app.

- How to set it: Simply paste your full meeting URL into the "Personal Meeting Link" input field and click "Save Changes."

- How it's used: When a session is scheduled, this link will be automatically included in the email reminders sent to you and your students, making it easy for everyone to join on time. It also appears as a "Join Live Session" button on the student's dashboard when they view the lesson.

2. Session Schedules & Automatic Reminders

This powerful feature allows you to create recurring schedules for your different student groups, which will automatically trigger push and email reminders for both you and your students 10 minutes before the session begins.

- Creating a Schedule:

1. Click the "Add Schedule" button.

2. In the dialog, select the days of the week for this recurring session.

3. Set the time for the session.

4. Select all the students who belong to this group from the list.

5. Click "Save Schedule."

- Managing Schedules*: You can create multiple schedules for different groups (e.g., a "Morning Group" and an "Afternoon Group"). You can easily **Edit** or *Delete any existing schedule from the list.

By setting up your schedules, you ensure that everyone receives a timely reminder, reducing missed sessions and keeping your Hifz program running smoothly. We hope these new tools help you focus more on teaching and less on administration!
