Admin Guide: Onboarding a New Student to Hifz Focus
Adding a new student to your institution in Hifz Focus is a simple, two-part process handled entirely from the Admin Dashboard. This guide will walk you through creating a student's account and connecting them with a teacher.
Step 1: Create the Student's Account
First, you need to create a profile and login credentials for the student.
1. Navigate to User Management: From your Admin Dashboard, locate the "User Management" card.
2. Add New Student*: Click the *"Add Student" button. This will open a dialog prompting you for the new student's details.
3. Enter Student's Information:
* Student Name: Fill in their full name.
* Email (Username): Enter their email address. This will be their username for logging in.
* Password: Set a secure temporary password.
* Age: Enter the student's age.
4. Save the Account: Click "Add Student" to finalize the creation.
The student now has an account and can log in, but they will not have any lessons or a teacher assigned yet.
Step 2: Assign a Teacher to the Student
After creating the student's profile, you must assign one or more teachers to manage their progress.
1. Find the Student: On the Admin Dashboard, locate the newly created student in the "Student Overview" table.
2. Assign a Teacher*: In the student's row, click the *"Assign" button.
3. Select Teacher(s): A dialog will appear with a list of all teachers in your institution. Check the box next to the name of each teacher you want to assign to this student.
4. Save Assignments*: Click *"Save Assignments" to confirm the connection.
Once assigned, the student will appear on their teacher's dashboard, and the teacher can begin setting lessons and conducting sessions. The student, upon logging in, will be able to see the lessons assigned by their new teacher.
